Homeowner watches as a wildfire bears down on their neighborhood.

This Saturday, October 5th at 2 pm at our Chevy Chase Library, 3301 E. Chevy Chase Drive, the Chevy Chase Estates Association will be hosting a free talk by insurance expert Robert Feldman.  This is NOT a sales spiel but rather just information from someone who knows the good, the bad, and the ugly about fire zone insurance.

Robert Feldman, insurance expert.

Robert Feldman is a 20-year Insurance Agency Owner, representing Allstate Insurance plus 14 other carriers, with agencies located in La Crescenta, West LA, and Malibu.  Robert serves on various committees working to improve homeowners insurance options in CA.  Robert’s agencies specialize in high fire zones and other hard to place insurance policies.  Today, Robert will discuss the current status of the insurance market, Fire scoring, how Homeowners insurance is rated, and solutions for those who have been negatively affected by non-renewal notices, brush zone locations and claims.
