The Arroyo & Foothills Conservancy is seeking to expand the Sycamore Canyon Preserve in the heart of Chevy Chase Canyon and the CCEA was there to assist.  This oasis of protected wild land serves as a critical link in a wildlife migration corridor that extends throughout the southland.

The Arroyo & Foothills Conservancy (AFC) created the Sycamore preserve and a chain of other strategic lands after tracking wildlife migration patterns, identifying key vacant parcels, and then acquiring them via private and public funding.   And just like the initial acquisition of Sycamore, the AFC team assembled landowners, leaders from the City of Glendale, and the CCEA to meet with funding decision makers for the Sate of California to expand our Sycamore wildlife oasis.  We all await their decision on once again funding Sycamore.
